Summary:
A shooting at Carver High School left one injured. Fortunately, they were not life-threatening wounds. Police state that they have a suspect in custody and that the rest of the school and student body were secured.
Analysis:
I think that school shootings are starting to become way to common. This was the most mild one I have seen so far and there are too many that i can compare it to. Everyone is saying that we need to increase gun control and school security to prevent this (which does need to be done) but why isn't anybody thinking about stopping this at the source? Why are these people walking into elementary, middle, and high schools to shoot innocent children and teens? Are they taking out their anger in this harsh way or have they simply gone mad? Why do these people think it was such a great idea to shoot kids?! Think about it and comment what you think about this situation.

Human psychology is a weird subject... I think they have just gone crazy. Terrorists maybe, but most of these situations seem to do with the mental insanity of the shooter.
ReplyDeleteThere has to be something that causes these people to do this, but I have no idea what it could be. I agree though; school shootings need to stop. What could those kids or the school have done to deserve such horrific punishment? I would REALLY like to be able to understand, but I have a feeling I never will.

ReplyDelete1. Is school security tight enough and if not should we tighten it?
2. What should we do with americas gun policy?
3. What should we do about the mentally unstable?
Me personally I believe that are government needs to stop the mentally insane from getting a gun. But for some reason right wing gun nuts seem to be so reluctant about even asking for back ground checks just to get a gun.
You may want to change the title of your report, as it makes it look like you are the one who did the shooting.
