Aeva Ramirez, New England Wells

As we all know water has been a scarce resource of lately. This problem has really impacted many places and has now hit New England. Wells that have worked for many years are now drying up and effecting the community. Many people have had to bring home large jugs of water and/or call the water company to drill their wells deeper or refill them. Water company owner Warren Hood says he receives up to ten calls a day from households with no water. A citizen tells reporters that he thought his well would last forever and that it really caught his off guard.

It's really scary to see how bad our water storage is. I don't think people really realize how bad this is because most of America does not yet face this problem. Just think in a couple years water will be doubled the price and something we all fight over like wealth. I hope we will find a solution and fast!

  1. Water shortage could grow to catastrophe that could start wars. While England is experiencing this, Americans water their lawns daily in the full sun, some are unaware, but some just don't care.

  2. we're always hearing about low water supplies in other countries, but it's even more shockingly real when it's in our country.
