According to the Tobacco Vapor Electronic Cigarette Association, there have been 22 related incidents since these e-cigarettes came out. This isn't very bad considering the damage it has done and could do. The problem lies within the battery and it's mismatched charger. In my opinion, if you're going to use them at least use them as instructed to prevent accidents. I'm glad the damage/injury wasn't worse. However, it sucks that the girl couldn't continue with her family time at the park. I know the police will figure out who had the device and take further action. I hope the damage to the seat doesn't effect further rides.
