SUMMARY: Haiti braced for a pounding Monday night as Hurricane Matthew slowly, powerfully spun across the Caribbean Sea.

The storm packing 140-mph winds has killed at least two people, caused cruise ships to change course and prompted the governors of Florida and North Carolina to declare states of emergency for coastal areas.

ANALYSIS: i think that this storm will hit pretty hard and i hope that no one else dies and that this is a very scary thing and that i don't what i would do if i was in the peoplers shoes who live on the coastline.
