The article above discusses how ISIS released 19 Christians out of captivity. The article states that ISIS is more targeted towards murdering humans who are Muslim that don't follow their specific rules rather than Christians. There are a few theories stirring about what actually changed ISIS's mind about holding these people captive but nothing has been clarified.
I was relieved to hear that they let some Christians go. This could potentially lead to a turn of events, possibly peacemaking. This is definitely a step in the right direction but ISIS is pretty unpredictable so who could possibly predict what their next move could be.
I agree, who knows what the purpose of the release was, but I can assume that it probably wasn't a truce based on their constant, and numerous, violent attacks.
