In Johnnesburg, South Africa eight police officers were accused of dragging a man down the road who was handcuffed to their van. Crowds screamed and chased the man as he was being dragged but he ending up dying from head injury's. The police officers were all arrested by the country's Independent Police investigation Directorate. "We view this incident in Serious light. We want stern action so that it may send a message to other officers that any uptowards corduct will not be tolerated," State Security Minister Siyabonga Owele said. The man who died was a taxi driver. It is so sad to think that police officers doing this kind of stuff.

Ouch ! That reminds me of the guy who got killed by the DART train when they were trying to take his ipod of whatever. Scary stuff.

ReplyDeletePolice officers are supposed to help people. They can't just kill someone. It was no accident that this man was dragged. The police officers knew that this could kill the man, and they let it happen anyways. That is such a shame. I hate hearing about people that should be protecting us, doing harmful things to people. It doesn't mater what country this happens in, this should never happen.
