The Flu has spread over 40 states, and it is still spreading. In Puerto Rico there have been over 15 pediatric deaths. Health officials are urging people to get their vaccinations as the Flu is a powerful virus. Over 12,000 cases of Flu like symptoms have been reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. There are 15 regions where Flu activity is very high; New Jersey, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, New York, and South Carolina are a few of the largely affected. Health officials believe that the best way to prevent getting the Flu is to receive the vaccination.
I have never had the Flu, but it seems like it is an awful virus. I think with developing technology and updated techniques we will be able to prevent the Flu. I know some people who still get the Flu after being vaccinated, so I wonder what causes that. I hope the spreading of the Flu slows down soon, and he have no more fatalities.

I never realized how serious the flu actually was, but now I know. I hope people get their vaccinations so it doesn't spread.

ReplyDeleteWe need to take control over diseases like this and find ways to stop them from spreading and kill them off completely in order to keep everyone healthy
