Joseph Clancy is the director of the secret service. In 2014 he was asked by President Obama to come back as his own body guard. A few days ago Clancy announced that he would be stepping down to retire from working as Secret Service at the White House. His reason for doing so is so that he could more time to dedicate and spend with his family. I honestly feel like that is a good reason for retiring because nothing is more important than family. I am very glad that he did his part in keeping our President safe for so many years. We are all grateful for his service!

I wonder if he knows secrets he can't tell anyone... Just curious. Also, do secret service people get a payed well?
