Jupiter, which was, on most imaging systems a blurry blob, is starting to become clear. Roman Tkachenko, an editor of the Jupiter Images, has enhanced pictures to revel swirling storm clouds around Jupiter nether regions. the images were captured on the JunoCam. Though the JunoCam is not a necessary part of the original mission to Jupiter, it has helped to collect many different high definition images of the stormy planet. "Citizen Scientists" voted on what images they wanted the cameras to go into more detail on.
this is important because it not only is relevant from a scientific stand point, but it is also involving citizens in the space programs. Space is vast and endless and we as a planet need to learn how to expand. knowing more about the planets that neighbor us is just what we need to do. and involving normal people in the scientific process is a great way to raise awareness.

I love the fact that we are now able to see other planets in our solar system!
