Asthma Rising JUles Stowe.

Asthma is a rising issue with todays pollution. The condition has almost doubled in todays youth, causing many more kids to have to carry around inhalers and be cautious when exercising. Scientist have found very recently a commonly found fungus that may be linked to the sudden increase in children with Asthma. The bacteria, Pichia, which can e found in the intestines of infants, seems to have a direct correlation with the rates of Asthma. Scientist still aren't clear as to how the bacteria gets into the child's  gut, but the bacteria can be found often in, soil, raw milk, and cheese.

This is important because kids are becoming more and more prone to such conditions as Asthma, and if we can slow down or even stop the progress then we will improve the quality of life for hundreds. Understanding how the bacteria works will help up make sure that we can find a cure or at least an vaccine for the epidemic of asthma.

    1. I have asthma as well and it is DEFINITELY and nuisance. I really hop scientists will be able to find the cause, because that could open up ways to find even better remedies and possibly even cures.
