The very well known rapper, Eminem, has released a disparaging rap verse about Donald Trump on fellow rapper Big Sean's recent album. As some may remember in October of 2016, Eminem had released an eight minute long freestyle called "Campaign Speech" in which he shared his opinion on the current political status and put Trump's supporters on blast. Along with this recent rap outbreak, others in the hip-hop community are getting ready for war with Trump administration as they fight for a better America.
I love when public figures use their popularity and platform to speak on important topics that concern much of our world today. The more people we have to fight alongside us, the higher the chance of our voices being heard under Trump's presidency. I hope that our voices are heard and public figures continue to share their opinions, as we are entitled to them.

Its great how Eminem isn't afraid to spread awareness to his audience about his concerns with Trump. More people need to do this in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI love that people aren't afraid to take a stand. Just don't forget we can walk this road together, through the storm, whatever weather, cold or warm.
ReplyDeleteQuote from his song "Not Afraid" btw lol^
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that they feel comfortable to share their opinions and fight for what they believe in. People should not be afraid of the governments for speaking freely and openly.
ReplyDeleteI find it refreshing and very interesting how many celebrities and people with public influence support basic rights and equality.
ReplyDeleteIts good that our generation is taking more consideration into politics, Im glad the majority of our country is coming to their senses and standing up for what they believe in.
ReplyDeleteYeah, there has been more and more celebrities to come out and speak their mind and even some to go to protest and speak and i think it's great to see people like that use their voices for great things.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it is good for people to express their opinions and use their voice, but some things are a little out of hand.
