Family Language - Max Gaddis

Hungarian is one of the most challenging languages in Europe that there is. It is more closely related to Estonian than any other language in Europe. The only thing that related it to the other languages around it is that it uses latin letters. That is really about it. Some examples of words from Hungrarian language include "Üdvözöljük Miskolcon" which is "Welcome to Miskolc". It is pronounced "Mish-kolts" because the "s" sound in Hungarian is pronounced as "sh" and the hard "c" sound is "ts". So "Budapest" would be "Budapesht". Some words aren't that hard like, "goulash" and "paprika". Although Hungarian is the most difficult of them all, German and Russian come close. The German word for "lover" is "lebensabschnittpartner" with "leben" being akin to "libeling", or "loved one", and "partner" being obvious. The rest of the word is really just added syllables with no real meaning or purpose than to make the word longer. Foreigners even say that Hungarian sounds way different from the other Germanic, Slavic, or Romance language, saying it sounds like singing because of the added difficulty of vowel tempos and patterns.

I agree that Hungarian is more challenging and more complex then the other languages because I know how German and Russian sound like and I honestly thought they were the most difficult languages until i heard Hungarian.
