The UK's air traffic control center in Swanwick had a technical issue which caused delays to hundreds of flights on Saturday across the United Kingdom, including Heathrow Airport. The National Air Traffic Services said that it had identified the problem and anticipated it would take until 6:30 p.m. that day to resolve.
This is terrible. So many people must have been so angry and upset.
