German policeman arrested in alleged cannibalism case by Katelyn McLane

A German policeman is suspected of murdering and butchering a man he met on a cannibalism website. They met on November 4th at the policeman's house, and the murdered man was reported missing later in November. The policeman confessed to killing the man, but nothing else. It's still undetermined whether he actually ate any of the man's body parts or not. The dead man had agreed to being killed and eaten, and had fantasized about it since his youth. The policeman, whose identity has not been revealed, was arrested on duty and is awaiting his trial. This was surprising for his colleagues, who said he was very nice and normal as far as they knew.

First of all, whatever website the men met each other on should be shut down immediately. Why are there even websites for cannibalism allowed on the internet? Granted, officials might not know about them at first, but once something like this happens as a result of people meeting on a website for cannibals, I sincerely hope that people have enough common sense to shut the website down as quickly as possible. Anyway, I find it very odd that a policeman, aka someone who hates murder and crime of any sort more than anyone else, would do something like this. Instead of agreeing to kill and eat a man, send them to a mental hospital! Obviously they aren't thinking straight and need major help. I hope the policeman goes to jail and is punished for his crimes, and I also hope that officials put an end to all websites that put people's lives in danger like this. It's sick, and definitely shouldn't still be happening in our advanced societies.
