Christian LeBlanc was exploring an island in the phillipines when he came across several elephants. He bought food to feed the elephants but one elephant stole his go pro and took a selfie with it  on may 19. He uploaded the image to twitter and called it an “elphie.” He belives the elephant is intelligent enough to take selfies.

The author of this is Jethro Mullen, who works for CNN and I know next to nothing about. Their point of view sees this as amusing and not serious.
