A long time ago when the Spanish came to Texas, they also brought hogs. Which are now taking over many places in Texas and destroying things. Such as, lawans, vegetable gardens, livestock tanks, flower beds, cables that go to electronics. Luckily because people hunt the hogs it kills some of them off. But because of the over population they came up with a poison called "Kaput Feral Hog Lure," and it makes human blood thinner and kills the pigs.
I hate that they have to poison the hogs just to not have them over populate so much, but I understand it's a part of life and that eventually everyone/everything dies. Hopefully they can give these hogs to countries where food is scarce and then they will also have food and they won't starve to death.

It is sad that they have to do that to the hogs, and I hope they can find a better place for them
ReplyDeleteI wish they could find more natural ways to lower the population instead of killing them. Maybe find a way to limit the mating so they couldn't reproduce.
ReplyDeleteI wish we didn't have to kill the pigs, but sometimes it just has to be done in order to regulate populations. Instead of poisoning them, there might be a better way to do this job.
