Miles Shickman's Current event
This past Saturday, Rock 'n' Roll legend, Chuck Berry died at the age of ninety. He is famous for his songs such as Johnnie B. Goode, My Ding-A-Ling, and Rock & Roll Music. He had announced a brand new album on his ninetieth birthday, to be released this year. However, since his passing, his family has decided to release the album anyways. It is always sad to see another musical icon go, and I'm sure we'll be listening to his music for years to come.

Its cool that they are still releasing the album even after his death. It will be even more special to all of his fans.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me sad because of his strong resemblance to Bowie's situation, but I am grateful for his family still releasing his music for all the world to hear in honor of this musical icon.
ReplyDeleteIt's great how his family still released his new album. It is sad how a great music icon can pass, but there music still lives on through us. I think this is a nice way to honor him.
