Svalbard, Notway is now home to the Arctic World Archive. The archive has been built to contain information needed to rebuild civilization after the societal-ending apocalypse. It's located at an abandoned coalmine on the island of Svalbard. Information is recorded on film accessible by QR codes. The film can last 1,000 years and is stored 984 feet underground. This information can be accessed by any country, group, or people in need of ultra-secure storage with guaranteed access in the future.
Dude this is so cool!!!! Part of me hopes that we will never need to use this for any reason other than just storage. However I'm a pretty hardcore believer in doomsday. At least we are setting up plans and provisions to help us out when that horrible time comes...
