Dario Franchitti and Scott Dixon, two indy race car driving stars, were robbed at gunpoint at a Taco Bell this past Sunday. The culprits were 2 male teenagers ages 14 and 15 who were arrested later that day. the incident took place about a half mile from the indianapolis circuit. Earlier that day
Dixon won the pole position for the Indy 500 and is now retiring from racing as a 3 time winner of the Indy 500.
It is so sad that people so young are resorting to crimes like this. Being the same age as them i can't even imagine committing a crime like this let alone even owning a gun in general. I wish that people didn't have to be so impoverished and/or greedy that they would have to resort to putting others life in danger and stealing to get by. I hope in the future we can try to tackle all these crimes that are taking place and start giving young people the help and support they need.
