The Republican Plan- Melanie Escalante

In 2014 when the Affordabke Care Act was passed, more money was given to medical needs which required more people to handle these services. Not only did Obamacare give people access to healthcare, it also gave people access to more job positions. Since 2014, around 1.1 million jobs have been added in medical services as well as other job positions. However, the employment rates could decrease along with the amount of healthy Americans if President Trump and the republicans take down and replace this act. The congressional budget office says that cutting Obamacare would lead to less money available for medical services, which would lead to less demand for medical services, which would lead to the decrease in reliable jobs in medical services.

I don't understand why someone would want to take away something good for the people of our country. Without this reliable source of healthcare, a lot of citizens would be ill and could possibly face death without access to medical care. Without Obamacare a lot of people would be jobless and not be able to provide for their family. If you look at the numbers then you see that the Affordable Care Act has been very beneficial to our country. We have been going steady these past 3 years and to knock something out of balance could potentiallyhttp://money.cnn.com/2017/05/07/news/economy/health-care-jobs/index.html

  1. From personal experience, good, affordable, easy to access healthcare is hard to find. Obamacare has presented a good program to provide this and now they want to take it away? With Trump, I'm not surprised.

  2. I honestly think that the whole healthcare system in America should just be reevaluated because even with obamacare it was incredibly difficult to find decent healthcare, and even when we found a decent plan, it was incredibly expensive and it didn't even cover much.
