Russian mafia kingpin assassinated in middle of Moscow 

In Moscow, Russia, Aslan Usoyan,  was shot dead in front of the Karetny Dvor restaurant at the age of 75. Usoyan was one of Russia's biggest mafia leaders and went by the name "Grandpa Hassan".  Usoyan was shot at once when exiting the restaurant by a sniper. The shot only wounded him, but Usoyan died on the way to the hospital due to loss of blood. The sniper was attacked by a female bystander who was a patient in a nearby hospital. The police think that the sniper had shot Usoyan because of a contract murder that lead back to the bloody turf wars in the 1990's or the murder was caused by the many murders Usoyan had committed. I feel bad that he's gone now and it's sad, but he was the leader of the Mafia and since he was well known then he probably committed a lot of crimes.
