Court rules British Christian has right to wear cross at work

In London a British Christian women was religiously discriminated when she wore a visible cross to The British Airways on Tuesday. The court said that British Airways violated the European Convention on Human rights with the freedom of religion when employee Nadia Eweida stopped wearing her cross. Eweida says that the first time she started to feel discrimination was the year 2006 when she worked as a member of the check-in-staff when she wore her cross over here uniform. She was once sent home and offered a different position were she wouldn't have personal contact with the costumers. She refused the offer. In 2007 the Airlines changed their uniforms and changed their policy so that employees could wear religious charms in which time Eweida returns to the check-in stand. In this court hearing they find that 3 other British Christians are being treated unfairly about their religious jewelry. I had no prior knowledge to this story, but it didn't really shock me as much. I am not religious and I do think it's silly to believe in such thing, but its her right and her choice and she can whatever she wants. Why should the jewelry she wears make a difference.
