Jackie Brown - Wyoming Lawmakers Propose 'Gun Protection' Legislation

Aaron Dykes posted "A movement to stop unconstitutional violations of gun rights by refusing to enforce unjust laws is slowly gaining momentum." in regards to a Chief of Police in Pennsylvania wanting to preserve the Bill of Rights 2nd Amendment. In a follow up, others are making a stand too. As Aaron posted, K2Radio.com reports:

Several Wyoming lawmakers are proposing legislation designed to protect gun-owners from any potential federal firearm ban. The “Firearms Protection Act” bill, introduced this week, would make any federal law banning semi-automatic firearms or limiting the size of gun magazines unenforceable within the state’s boundaries.
Anyone trying to enforce a federal gun ban could face felony charges under the proposal. It also includes a provision allowing the Wyoming Attorney General’s office to defend any state resident against any federal firearm ban.

This proposal is completely legal, considering the constant reminder the federal government needs of the Bill of Rights, the 10th Amendment states that powers not granted to the fed. are reserved to the individual states or to the people, now matter how many times they sneakily try to cross the Constitution.
