Attacks on Greek Journalist: Amanda Kipp

This Friday in Athens, Greece, arsonists attacked the houses of 5 different well known journalists. They used makeshift bombs but police said that only small amounts of damage were done on the homes. This  is the first reported bomb-attack in Greece ever since the country went through an economic depression 4 years ago. The motives behind the attacks are still not known yet but they are definitely linked to the journalists, all 5 of which work for "mainstream media." I think this is very alarming and scary news for those journalists who probably did not mean to offend anyone with anything they were doing at their workplace.

  1. I agree! I feel bad for the journalist since they wern't meaning to offend anyone.

  2. That is awful. Why would people feel the need to bomb someone else's house for no reason? These people have to write as their profession. If certain people don't like what is being written down, then they can just decide not to read what is being written. I wonder what the journalists wrote about the depression that caused all of this. If the crisis happened four years ago, then why would something happen now? I hope that this incident isn't a glimpse of what destruction is going to happen in the future.
