Boy Scouts allow openly gay people. By Jackson Daughety

SUMMARY:Starting January first, openly gay people are finally going to be allowed into the boy scouts. Over 60% of people voted yes to this in the last vote in May ANALYSIS: This is good. Im glad that gay people are getting the same oppurtunities as everyone else.     It feels like the world is finally making an effort to equalize rights for all people. This is a great step towards that goal, and I love hearing news like this.

    Im glad they made this decision, I dont think excluding people because of something they cant change shows the boy scout values.

    I think it was ridicolous that openly gay guys were not allowed in the first place. C'mon, its called BOY scouts, not STRAIGHT scouts.Equality reigns over all *blows trumpet of freedom*

    I agree with you, this is a great step towards equality for gay people. I thought their arguments for why it wasn't right in the first place were ridiculous.
