A military base was attacked by a Kenyan fighter jet and hit a camp in Somalia. The attack killed at least 30 militants and killed some key commanders, besides the many killed, a lot were also injured. The terrorists are said to be an al Qaeda-linked organization and now they're attacking Somalia after last time hitting a shopping mall in Kenya. This is not going to be the last attack, but it's unclear of where their next target will be.
I think this is absolutely crazy of al Qaeda to be attacking countries and governments all over the world, they're never going to take over the world or convince very many people to work for them, because countries like the U.S. absolutely hate them and the people know that. I'm just wondering why they attacked Kenya and Somalia, was it political aspects or economic? I would like to know what makes someone want to kill a bunch of people and most likely themselves too.
Lets be careful here. Just because there is a link to Al Qadea does not mean it was an attack by them.
ReplyDeleteI don't think we should be defending al Qaeda. I also don't care who is behind these attacks. I just think the whole world needs to sit and think for a moment about what we're doing. Anger and violence are never going to solve any problems, they'll just create new ones. When we were younger, we wouldn't blow up our mothers because they didn't buy us a toy. We'd try to persuade her to get it. It's basically the same for he rest of your life. If these angry people just tried to bargain with others about what they want, things would be much better. Al Qaeda or whoever is behind these attacks needs to realize that they're going to destroy themselves before they ever get what they want, so obviously their tactics need to change.
