Recently, Vietnam and China have been struggling over who has power over which waters in the South China Sea. Today China finally acknowledged that one if it's drilling rig vessels exploded all over Vietnamese property, and tension has been escalating. Some nations have been worried that China is bullying other countries because the dispute with China sent Vietnam's stock market plunging. Experts are saying that this is "quite alarming" because in the past years China has always had a relatively peaceful bond with its Asian neighbors.
I think this is scary, because China is so powerful it could basically do anything it pleases. I really hope they don't abuse their power and that all relations in China (and all over the world really) stay peaceful. We really don't need any more wars to break out. I hope that this whole conflict will be resolved.
