This is not the first time this issue has surfaced. Last month, in North Carolina, two skydivers also died due to faulty parachutes. I believe we need to address the quality of the safety checks being done. Are thorough safety checks being done? Or, are skydivers not receiving enough training prior to going out? Hopefully, skydiving companies will start to realize the problem of parachutes and take it into consideration.
I feal sooooo bad for her and her family. Skydiving sounds cool, but you have to think about the what if, like what if your parachute doesn't open.
ReplyDeleteSkydiving is definitely a risk but if everything goes right I bet it would be a very fun and exhilarating experience. I am so sorry for the women who passed but her life should be celebrated for being adventurous and daring.
ReplyDeleteSkydiving is very dangerous and they should be more careful about the safety of the parachutes.
ReplyDeleteI think the issue was she used her own equipment, rather than a company's equipment, but her parachute should've been checked for safety somehow.
