A Doctor at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center used Google glasses for the ER. They are the first to ever do this since the glasses were released. It helps to make the process much quicker and more efficient.
I personally think Google Glasses are terrifying, they're the beginning of the end ( in my opinion). While I'm glad that they can make things a little more efficient for people in hospitals, I really think that we should try to stick a little more to the more old fashioned way of doing things.

I partly agree with you - I think that if new technologies are helping save lives, then doctors and medical professionals so embrace them, but I do agree that electronics are starting to take over in our everyday lives and will probably cause a lot of ramifications in the future.
ReplyDeleteI think that technological advancement are pretty much necessary, especially for medical use, but I don't think spying or hacking would be the right direction for it to advance upon.
ReplyDeleteWith every newly developed technology there will have some sort of scary factor going for it. Its reasonable to be terrified but a lot of time we create new technology to do good not to terrify you.
