A huge power cut in Bangladesh left tens of millions of people nationwide without electricity for hours on Saturday. The blackout hit the entire area after a failure on a line that imports power from India. The blackout lasted into the night, leaving streets in the capital of
Dhaka into darkness as people used candles and flashlights to find their
way. Leaving even the Prime Ministers official residence in darkness. Many business had to struggle to continue their work with the little light they received from candles. Government officials said at a news conference Sunday morning that the electricity supply had been fully restored.
Being that the U.S. specifically Dallas, Texas has had blackouts before i understand how hard it may be to function in that environment. However considering this has happened before in 2007 after the country had blackout from a powerful cyclone the country should've been more prepared. An eight-member team has been set up to investigate exactly what caused the massive outage in hopes to prevent it from happening again in the future. Hopefully they will succeed and not have this problem again in the future.

I'd be very surprised if they're not prepared for it if there is a next time, and dear God I hope it doesn't happen again for business' sake.
