British clarinet player, Acker Bilk, died at the age of 85. The reason for his death was not announced to the public but lots of people are in deep mourning. He beat the Beatles and other very famous British "rockers" on the top U.S. music charts, most famously with his popular hit, "Stranger on the Shore".
It's always very sad when a famous and loved person passes. It's always especially sad when the person who died is a legendary inspiration to tons of people around the world. Although, people passing could be looked upon as a good thing. As an old generation of musician and other kinds of artists pass, a new generation rises up and brings something else for historians to record in their history books.
I don't know who Acker Bilk is, but I agree, it's very sad when a celebrity dies.
