3 trick-or- treaters killed by speeding car

3 trick or treaters were killed by a speeding car on Halloween in California. The victims were young girls who were 13yrs. old. They were walking across a street near an elementary school when a car hit them and sped off. The girls were declared dead at the scene. There is a witness that followed the car and led police to the deserted vehicle. The suspects are 2 male men who fled on foot.
I feel sorry for those girls that were killed. I cant believe the driver wasn't driving the speed limit and drove off when he knew he hit those girls. This incident shows you should always be careful when crossing the street because you never know what could happen.
It's really awful that those young girls were killed. Accidents happen, and both the driver and the girls should have been more careful that night. I hope that their families are doing alright.
