The eastern gorilla is critically endangered

so basically right now during 2016 Eastern gorillas are populating the mountainous forests of eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, northwest Rwanda and southwest Uganda, making them another victim of the region's civil wars. People going Hunting of eastern gorillas, has led to a population decline of more than 70% in the past 20 years for the world's largest living primate, the IUCN said.

The eastern gorilla population, made up of two subspecies, is estimated to be fewer than 5,000, endangered to critically endangered. This gorillas have to be More In protection than In danger.

  1. My article is somewhat based off this as well but this happened because the Giant Panda is no longer endangered and moved up a rank which caused these gorillas to drop and become endangered. I feel for these animals very much.

  2. It makes me said that after happily reading an article based on the increase of the panda population the gorilla population is starting to decline. Many of these animals are already being hunted for items such as teeth and fur or are just dying off due to environmental invasion. Unfortunately the answer to these problems are either somewhat effective or will take a long time to actually benefit these animals.

  3. I'm happy that the panda population is no longer in danger and is now safe. But if there's one species saved, another one is put on the hit list. Do the people who hunt these endangered animals have to do this? Was the death of Harambe not enough for u people? It's sad to see these primates who help us remember harambe are now in more danger.
