protest during national anthem- Valerie Garcia (week 4)

Its been seen that during the national anthem some players are holding up a black-gloved fist or taking a knee. They are doing this in protest of equal rights. It doesn't show less respect of the military and all of the players respect and love them.  It just shows their opinion that they want change to keep moving forward and that's not really happening right now so therefore they took a stand.

I personally respect their decision to take a knee. I understand why they would do it and it is their right. The main idea is that we do have rights and we can express those rights. The players understand that things in the world right now aren't the best, so what do they do? They take a knee and the coaches stand by them which is great.

  1. i totally agree. if taking a knee means getting people to understand whats really going on out there then i say do it. and what some people have to understand is that they aren't disrespecting anyone but trying to prove a point that i hope the world one day sees
