State of Emergency Declared in Oklahoma After Magnitude 5.6 Earthquake BY: CALEB GUTIERREZ

This past Labor Day weekend, according to NBC News, a 5.6 magnatiude earthquake touched down at 7:02 a.m. In Oklahoma Sunday September 3, 2016. People could feel the earthquake as far south as Dallas! And as far north as Chicago! Due to the earthquake, Governor Fallin declares a state of emergency in the Pawnee County. Plenty of buildings were damaged, and nobody has been reported injured yet! But earthquakes are dangerous and people need to learn what to do during an earthquake. Schools on the West Coast and East Coast have earthquake drills, but how come the tornado ally states don't have Earthquake drills in their schools? Earthquakes are known for destruction and they can happen anywhere, and they can defenetly do damage! So people need to learn how to take action and be prepared!! Earthquakes can kill.
