What 80 million unexplored bombs did to Laos. By:Edwin Guzman

Yei Yang, a man who lived peacefully with his family, who's life went from a good life,  to a near-death-experience.
40 years ago,  was a time when both the US and Laos were in a "secret war", and between that period of time,  80 million cluster bombs were scattered all around Laos. The state went from a farm land,  to a minefield of bombs just waiting to be unexpectedly exploded. And Yei Yang, was one of those thousands of people to face the unknowing truth that laid beneath them. The bomb had blown Yei  Yang' body from his waist and up,  leaving him scrarred for the rest of his life. In this small nation in Southeast Asia,  there are still more cases like this being reported. And yet the US has only detonated less than 1 percent of the 80 million bombs they scattered 40 years ago. This is an example of what the world is coming to,  and will still come to in the end. Right this moment,  President Barack Obama is working on finding more money so that the scattered cluster bombs get removed faster and no more lives are taken on a mistake that happened years ago in a war. May luck be with these people who walk the clutches of danger every day of their lives. By:Edwin Guzman.
