September 3, 2026 a 5.6 earthquake hit Oklahoma and you could feel it all the way in Dallas! People are thinking that the earthquake was caused from oil drilling, or something like that. The author of the article is Jackie Wattles and the article was published September 4th at 7:43.
I personally felt the aftereffects/ what every they are called of the earthquake in Dallas. I live in an apartment in downtown and the buildings shook. People who were on the ground couldn't feel the tremors but if you were a couple stories up you could. I personally don't know how to feel about this article/ what is happening in Oklahoma. They say that Oklahoma hasn't really ever experienced earthquakes and the oil drilling is causing it but I honestly don't understand 100% what is going on!

I personally didn't feel it or even really realize that was an earthquake here until the next day, but I really wish I could've. I've only experienced one before and it was such a crazy feeling.
ReplyDeleteI didn't feel the earthquake and didn't know about it until I saw it on twitter. People should educate us more on earthquakes because I wouldn't have know what it was/felt like or what to do besides hide under something.
ReplyDeleteThat is very interesting. I did not feel any after shock. I have never experienced an earthquake personally, and that is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even feel or know about the earthquake until my mom told me. I've never experienced an earthquake and do not know how to protect myself from it!
