A LOT OF REINDEER GOT HIT BY LIGHTNING

Thousands of reindeer migrate across Hardanangervidda plateau when the seasons change, and today more than 300 reindeer were found killed by lightning.
The Norwegian Environment showed images of piles and piles of dead reindeer. An agency spokesman said that its not common for wildlife to be killed by lightning, but not at this scale.
Reindeer stand very close together during bad weather which would be the reason for so many to be killed.

    This is insane, I don't even know what to say. Whoever owns those reindeer should keep a better eye on them.

    I think there should be more of a proactive action upon this issue. There is no reason why the Norwegian government hasn't made an attempt to provide a somewhat safer environment for the reindeer at this time.

      This seems absolutely amazing and a phenomenon. I wonder if they will ever determine what happened. This many reindeer dying from lightening is hard to believe.
