How did a flight from New Orleans to Orlando end up in Pensacola? When one of the engines of flight 3472 exploded, not all 99 passengers were able to stay calm. Flying parts and smoke was spotted through the window. Mothers and sons were screaming and crying amid the shaking airplane. However, the amazing crew and skillful pilot saved the cabin. The crew memyers helped prevent all hell from breaking loose and assisted passengers with oxygen masks. The pilot called for an emergency landing and flew the passengers to safety at a Pensacola airport. There were no injuries or deaths. The passengers were very grateful for the top quality service during this scary incident. I feel airlines should more carefully inspect an airplane before takeoff. Although the crew/ pilot handled it very well, more safety equipment should be put in place to make passengers feel more prepared. Let's hope nothing like this happens again.
