Case Cockrell- Current Events 10/27

Syrian rebels clashed with our troops and started a fight, leaving 19 people dead. 10 were our soldiers, 9 were Syrian. The Syrians claim that we attacked first and this was an act of defense. They claim that we were "trespassing" in a restricted area. The Syrian media says that a "large number" of terrorists were killed, life has seemed to have returned to normal in Syria.

My analysis on this event is that terrorism and violence is still a huge problem is the world. No matter how many peace treaties we make or how many agreements we make, there will still be violence. World Peace is a matter that may not ever be achieved. No one will ever agree on things forever.
