A group of 200 Taliban members attacked a convoy of 180 Afghanistan security forces. They captured 4, injured 17 and killed 14, along with 23 Taliban dead. There was another suicide attack from the Taliban the day before, and 14 more people were killed.
Although these events are incredibly horrific and terrible, it is a good reminder that the problems we were trying to deal with before are still here and need to fix it soon. ISIS has been taking the spotlight lately and the whole world has been focused on them, but the world, especially USA, since the troops are overseas in that region, still needs to remember things like the Taliban and Al-Qaeda because just because the ISIS is here, doesn't mean they are gone.
