In this article it talks about the missing flight, flight 370, and how they are searching pieces of the airplane. While they were searching for this they came across the issue that they do not know much about the seafloor. In fact, only 5% of it has actually been studied. Which brings up the question, How are you supposed to find answers without the information of where the answers lie?
I thought this article was very interesting. I did not know that scientists knew such little about what lurks on our ocean floors...the thought of that is very scary. Most of our planet is made up of water, therefore, wouldn't it be wise to actually know what the water contains? I think scientists should really go into further studies.
