Tony Bennett talks to Lady Gaga and helps art schools: Reagan Leslie
Tony Bennett made history this week by being the oldest artist with a number one album. In an interview, he admits that he has never worked in a day in his life because he loves what he does. He likes to sing and paint everyday. He also studies, so he can keep on learning. Bennett, who is 88, topped the Billboard 200 because of his jazz collabs with Lady Gaga. Speaking of her, he contacted her to ask if she would a song with him. He claims that he's a fan, even though he's 60 years older than her. When Bennett is not onstage, he and his wife's foundation Exploring the Arts raised 1.3 million dollars during their benefit gala. His dream is to have more artists in the U.S. than in any another country. I think what Bennett is very inspirational because he wants more artists in the world and he sure did inspire me, being an artist myself.

I grew up listening to classic music like Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin and it really is a shame that the classics are dying in this day in age.
