Wolves in russia have been eating a lot of a live stock killing a lot of animals. Hunters have been going on a hunt for these wolves so a lot of having a good hunting season.The wolf-hunting season has been extended to the whole year, as the target is to get the wolf population in the region down to 500 - reckoned to be the optimal number. Currently there are estimated to be more than 3,500.The most successful hunters will get bonuses. The vast, sparsely populated region is also known as Yakutia.

I think the hunters are okay for hunting the wolves. Its the circle of life and they were going to die anyways so it really doesn't matter at all.
This is absolutley preposterous. It is survival of the fittest and natural selection in process. The number of wolves will decline in time because food would be running low because of the plethoric number of wolves.
