European Airports Aim To End Liquid Ban on Planes by Angelica Fischer

In both Europe and U.S., flyers are restricted to no more than 3.4 ounces of liquids and gels in their carry-on bags. London is taking the first step toward the goal of lifting restrictions on liquids by 2016. They are planning to install new liquid scanning technology at Heathrow Airport. The Ohio-based company which developed the liquid scanners says it scans containers in less than 10 seconds, using radio frequency and ultrasonic technology.

I think this idea of the liquid ban is a perfect idea and I hope it lifts the restrictions by 2016 because the little liquid containers can explode and no one wants their plane to explode and crash. I hop all the airports around the world consider the liquid scanners.
