The article above lists the top five terror groups for this month and gives a brief description on each of them. The groups include; Al-Shabaab, Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, ISIS and Taliban. Al-Shabaab, for example, has been threatening to attack malls in the west including Mall of Americas. The majority of these groups are a global threat, meaning that they have attacked other bases that belong to other countries or they have manipulated citizens from other countries.
I was really surprised by this article. I thought that ISIS was the main threat right now, only to find out that there are several terrorist groups in the world. I am sure that there are more terrorist groups out there but these are just the main threatening ones. It is honestly frightening that there are terror groups that are planning attacks on innocent people. The scariest part is that you don't know what their next plan is.
Unfortunately, these groups have been a threat for quite a long time, and they only grow worse. Right now the main threat is ISIS, but others are still threatening to areas in Africa and Southwest Asia.
