3 workers in an oil platform were killed and 10 other workers were injured from an explosion. The tragic event occurred in Brazil, and reporters are getting their information from the state oil company. 74 of the workers who were working on the same platform are currently missing.
It's really tragic when lives are cut short from dangerous jobs are silly mistakes that cause exploding oil platforms. People should really look into the safety of that kind of environment before they put workers and civilians inside of it. This isn't a problem with just Brazil either, incidents like these are happening all over the world.
It would be interesting to know the cause of such a tragic accident. I agree that large companies in this area of business should be more careful for the sake of safety.
