Cold air from Siberia landed in the US that has brought dangerously frigid and likely setting records. Temperatures are 20-40F below normal for February. Schools in Chicago have closed and trains in the north-east corridor have been affected. This weather surge is also affecting Canada and these temperatures are expected to last until Friday. Weather forecasters believe the cold air will help break more than 10 daily record lows, NBC reports. Elijah Marsh, a 3 year old from Toronto, died after being lost for hours only wearing a T-shirt, diaper, and boots. Elijah was found a few hundred meters away from his home in -19C temperature but died in the hospital.
These strange occurrences are occurring because of global warming. Now, it is not even safe to leave your home because you might die. And it is not like we can stop the weather from killing people but then again someone should have been taking care of that boy or else it could have been prevented.
