A mango is more than a fruit!  In China, It has become a political symbol from Mao Zedong's actions toward workers. She was given baskets of mangoes and began sending them to peasants, who had never even see the fruit before. It became a representation of a new equality China had not seen before. The mango started to be seen across the region as art and in literature.

I find this inspirational, that a single person changed the way people thought of workers for years. Equality is now an important aspect of life for all people, and this one person made a difference!
