Pope let's gays and lesbians sit front row by Jesse Dale

Pope Francis and the Vatican gave VIP seats to US gays and lesbians at the weekly general audience. The Vatican has never done that before. They were, however, skipped when they were giving shout outs to certain groups.

This Pope Francis is the best thing to happen to the Vatican and Catholic church in a while I believe. The Vatican has become much more tolerant of people and even accepting them more. Even though they were skipped over during recognitions, we are getting closer and closer to equality for everyone.

  1. I'm glad the pope doesn't discriminate

  2. It's good that the pope is more progressive, especially considering it will help open up equality in the Catholic church. It still sucks that the gay people there were skipped over, but at least they weren't harassed right there I guess
